Achievement Centers for Children & Families Programs offers early learning, out-of-school programs, summer camp, teen programs, and family support programs. Achievement Centers has offered childcare and educational opportunities in southern Palm Beach County since 1969. The mission of Achievement Centers for Children & Families Programs is to empower families facing financial challenges by providing affordable access to early learning, out-of-school, summer camp, teen, and family support programs, and to build a foundation for academic achievement, financial stability, and lifelong success for the children and families served. The Family Support Program provides essential health, wellness, and parenting support, as well as comprehensive therapeutic care in collaboration with community partners. The programs serve 700+ children and their families each year and are described as transformational, improving school readiness, combating food insecurity, preventing the summer learning slide, and affording opportunities for under-resourced children to become competitive with their peers. The FREE VPK PROGRAM for 4/5-year-olds includes breakfast and lunch, and registration is available for the 2025–2026 school year. Achievement Centers for Children & Families is funded through a variety of sources, including annual events such as the Delray Beach Home Tour, Cornhole for the Kids, Swing to Achieve Golf Tournament, and Witches Brew & Ride, and its work relies on support from community partners and sponsors.
