Delray Beach Playhouse Arts Academy

Delray Beach Playhouse Arts Academy takes place at a non-profit community theater that presents Off-Broadway plays, comedies, musicals, cabaret, tribute concerts, and children’s theatrical productions. The theater also offers Lunch Box Matinee events that combine a live show or presentation with a catered lunch served at tables set up for four people in the Cabaret Theatre.

• Schedule: Hours Monday–Friday 10:00am–4:00pm; open 1 hour before show times

For the 2025–2026 season, all Lunch Box Matinee lunches start at 12:00pm and the show or presentation starts at 1:00pm. Lunch Box Matinee tickets include both the show ticket and lunch, and all of these lunches are catered by TooJay’s restaurant. Each standard lunch option includes one sandwich on seedless rye bread, one side of coleslaw, one pickle, one black and white cookie, and one bottled water, with a salad option that does not include the pickle and coleslaw. The veggie wrap option is served on a whole wheat wrap. If a family does not want bottled water, it can be substituted with Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, or Ginger Ale by specifying this in the remarks section at checkout. Select performances also allow the option to purchase a TooJay’s boxed lunch to enjoy before the show for an additional charge.
