Kukenam Camp offers a family-oriented day camp and sleepaway camp program that includes over 25 diverse activities combining recreation and education in the Day Camp, along with non-traditional activities. The program is conducted in Spanish, and the Day Camp includes a bilingual English-Spanish component. Both Day Camp and Sleepaway Camp feature a homemade-style menu, with all meals included for Day Camp.

Kukenam Camp is led by Camp Directors and owners Andreina Valenzuela, Andrés Vidal, and Alexandra Pinza, with one or more Camp Directors or Owners on-site throughout each camp session. The Sleepaway Camp receives personalized and direct supervision from Camp Directors and co-founders Andreina and Andrés. The leadership team has over 28 years of camp experience, and the directors have over two decades of camp experience. Andrés Vidal is a former Board Member of the Venezuelan Camp Association (ASOVENCAMP), a certified International Camp Director trained by the International Camping Fellowship (ICF) in Venezuela, Colombia, and Canada, and a member of the American Camp Association (ACA) with continuous training for the last 15 years. Andreína Valenzuela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Administration with a specialization in Management and has certifications in first aid, lifeguarding, and rappelling techniques, while Alexandra Pinza is a Human Resources professional. The camp has a dedicated team of trained counselors and staff. Kukenam Camp is a member of the American Camp Association (ACA), and its leadership includes a Certified International Camp Director and a former Board Member of the Venezuelan Camp Association (ASOVENCAMP). The camp’s stated mission is to nurture young minds and instill leadership, self-esteem, respect, creativity, and teamwork, and to foster the growth of young minds by helping them acquire essential life skills.
