Li’l Abner Foundation Programs include Taekwondo, archery, tutoring, dance, a free S.A.T. prep course for high school students, the Disney on Wheels event, and the Li’l Abner Spring Arrow Indoor Club Shoot. The Taekwondo program teaches children and teens the benefits of the Kukkiwon Taekwondo style, and Taekwondo classes are for children aged 6 and above. The archery program offers a full Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) program for youth ages 10 to 20 and welcomes adult archers, with instruction under the USA Archery National Training System.

The Li’l Abner Foundation is a not-for-profit 501C organization that offers free tutoring, dance, Taekwondo, and archery programs for children from 1st through 12th grade in Miami Dade County, Florida. The Li’l Abner Foundation’s after school tutoring program is directed by a State of Florida Department of Education certified teacher and is assisted by volunteer students from the F.I.U. Honors College and Belen Jesuit Preparatory High School. The foundation offers a free S.A.T. prep course for high school students, scholarships for children from 6th to 12th grades to attend Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, and scholarships for adults to attend Florida International University to earn a degree.

Li’l Abner Foundation archery is an official USA Archery club and an official USA Archery JOAD Club, and the Li’l Abner Spring Arrow Indoor Club Shoot is a USA Archery–sanctioned local club tournament. The archery program from Belen Preparatory School continues, and Belen has officially accepted it as its newest club. The Annual Disney on Wheels event offered 74 medically fragile children with special needs from Miami Dade County the opportunity to visit Disney’s Magic Kingdom for the first time, and Disney on Wheels offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience for medically fragile children in South Florida to visit Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

The Li’l Abner Foundation states that its goal is to improve the lives of all residents in the communities where it operates and that it believes and supports that education and sports are very important for the development of the children of the community. The foundation is dedicated to facilitating access to educational, recreational, and health services for City of Sweetwater residents of all ages, from K–12 grade students to the elderly. Raul F. Rodriguez is the founder and president of the Li’l Abner Foundation, and he mentions progress in the past 16 years.
