• Ages: 5–18 years old
Premier Martial Arts provides training for all ages to help harness an inner champion. Its 20-year philosophy focuses on equally developing a child’s physical and moral character. The child-focused curriculum is designed to stimulate young minds through verbal, visual, and physical engagement, and experienced martial artists incorporate a variety of different fighting styles practiced worldwide, including karate, kickboxing, krav maga, taekwondo, and jiu-jitsu, to create a well-rounded mixed martial arts experience. Martial arts-themed birthday parties are described as fun, active, and educational, and events such as Parents’ Survival Nights and the White Belt Buddy Bash offer additional ways for children and their friends to experience martial arts. Adult programs include kickboxing and self-defense classes.
Certified instructors at Premier Martial Arts have studied multiple martial arts disciplines to expose children to an assortment of skills and techniques. The start-up offer includes two private lessons with a Premier Martial Arts expert trainer to explore ability level and find the right programs to help meet individual goals, and this offer includes a uniform. A special offer is also listed as “Try Martial Arts 1 Trial Lesson & Karate Uniform Included,” and the program notes that it provides everything needed to make a positive change.
Parent feedback includes comments such as Amy Ahrens saying the studio had a huge impact on her 5- and 7-year-old children and that birthday parties there were memorable and low-effort for her as a parent. Another parent, Alex Duenas, states that the school strengthens students physically and mentally and mentions having four of six children enrolled. Fregens Auguste notes that “Mr James is the coolest” and that the kids really enjoy the studio as a place to stay active.
