Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County offers the Y.E.S. Program, the M.O.S.T. Afterschool Program, the M.O.S.T. Summer Program, the Keystone Club Teen Program, Torch Club, the Youth of the Year Program, the Snack and Supper Program, the Physical Fitness Program, the Facts. Your Future. Program, and the Family Strengthening Program. Activities include academic success, career exploration, community service, leadership and service experience, small-group peer-led leadership projects, youth recognition activities, free snack and supper, daily physical fitness, basketball, flag football, cheerleading, and substance abuse prevention.

Programs

• Youth Education Success (Y.E.S.) Program
• M.O.S.T. Afterschool Program — 6-12 · Year-round afterschool program for elementary school children from communities surrounding the Clubs; offered to members in grades 1st–5th.
• M.O.S.T. Summer Program — 6-12 · Summer program for elementary school children from the communities surrounding the Clubs; offered to members in grades 1st–5th.
• Keystone Club Teen Program — Teen program focused on academic success, career exploration, and community service; provides leadership and service experience.
• Torch Club — 9-12 · Character and leadership program for young adolescents; small-group, peer-led experience with leadership skills and service projects.
• Youth of the Year Program — 14-18 · Youth recognition program for Club members that promotes service, academic performance, moral character, life goals, and public speaking ability.
• Snack and Supper Program — Monday thru Saturday · Offers a free nutritious snack and supper to every member.
• Physical Fitness Program — Daily physical fitness activities and athletic programs including basketball, flag football, and cheerleading for all ages.
• The Facts. Your Future. Program — Substance abuse prevention initiative focused on 'Just Say No and Here’s Why.'
• Family Strengthening Program

About the provider

Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County has been serving young people since 1965. Its mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Its programs include opportunities for community service and volunteerism, collaboration with Broward County School Board, and a panel of judges selects a local Youth of the Year from finalists chosen at each of the 12 Clubs.
