At Kidstown offers teacher-directed activities that include character development materials, interactive story times, and hands on math activities using real objects instead of only abstract numbers. Children take part in sensorial activities such as water and sand play, phonics and letter games and toys, and physical development activities and materials such as music and movement. The program also includes parachute play and a bean bag rock and roll activity.

At Kidstown enrolls infants as young as 6 weeks, toddlers ages 12–36 months, preschoolers who are 3 years old, and children in a Florida funded Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program for 4-year-olds. The program also offers after care for school-age children up to 12 years old, as well as Spring, Winter, and Summer camp programs. At Kidstown utilizes the Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers and Two’s, Creative Curriculum for Preschoolers 4th edition, High Reach Learning, and Hooked on Phonics. The stated mission is to provide a structured environment which will promote a child's physical, social, emotional, and academic growth. The program is a Gold Seal Quality Care Program and is accredited through Green Apple Accreditation of Children's Services. At Kidstown is part of the Florida Child Care Food Program, accepts School Readiness and VPK through the Early Learning Coalition, and is part of the Early Learning Coalition.
