About
Davis School of Music offers strings lessons, piano lessons, and vocal lessons. Strings lessons are available for students as young as 4 or 5 depending on physical and mental maturity, and they can extend to adult learners. Piano and vocal lessons are offered by standing appointment in 6- or 12-week sessions, with times on Tuesdays from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesdays from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., and Fridays from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

About the provider
For strings lessons, parent participation is very important, especially for the first few years and for younger students. The program notes that a properly sized instrument and bow should be approved by the instructor before the first lesson, and it recommends renting an instrument at first. For the 2026 Summer Semester, make-up classes are not available.
