After-School Program

The After-School Program is offered by the Pine Manor Improvement Association, a private, not for profit 501(c)3 organization. The program is part of a broader set of services, events, and programs that address nutritional needs, job training, family connection, and promote safety.

The Pine Manor Improvement Association has been active in the community since 1984 and has been a 501(c)3 organization since 2007. The organization provides services to approximately 3,000 children and families that are at risk in the Pine Manor area of Fort Myers, as well as approximately 3,000 community residents that are at risk in Southwest Florida. The neighborhood of Pine Manor is designated by the Lee Board of County Commissioners as in need of direct social service assistance. Neighborhood Resource Specialist Shari Clark is part of the leadership team. Pine Manor offers no-cost social services and other assistance, and it has a licensed, shared-use commercial kitchen that can be rented and reserved for one-time or ongoing use, including serving as a licensed commissary for the operation of a food truck.
