Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County – After School & Summer Programs offers afterschool and summer programs that include activities in health, education, leadership, career readiness, and character development. The program also offers sports and recreation, leadership development, workforce readiness, healthy lifestyles activities, Youth of the Year recognition, Spring Break Camp with arts and sports, Summer Camp Programs, a Mobile Club with on-the-go activities, and 21st Century Learning Centers for learning beyond the classroom. Club programs and services focus on instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging, and power or influence in boys and girls.

• Schedule: School-based Clubs are open after school until 6:00 p.m., with some also open from 7:00 a.m. until school begins; Clubhouses are open five days a week after school until 7:00 p.m.
For over 30 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County has been a cornerstone of youth development. The organization’s mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. It serves more than 2,200 youth daily through afterschool, summer, and outreach programs, and 16,000 youth annually in Clubs and outreach programs. It is part of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, using a nationwide network for program development, staff training, resource building, and organizational planning. In 2022, Club members completed over 25,000 community service hours. The organization provides over 1,000,000 meals, snacks, and food pantry items each year to Club members and their families, and reports that 97% of Club members are on track to graduate high school. It states a commitment to promoting safe, positive, and inclusive environments for all youth and teens of every race, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, ability, socio-economic status, and religion.
