About
Cowabunga Summer Surf & Watersports Camp includes surfing, skim boarding, body boarding, and paddle boarding. Small, supervised groups rotate through these activities as they are instructed in water sports and water safety skills. The camp also includes weekly surf competitions, pizza parties, and a variety of aquatic and beach games.

• Schedule: Half-day and full-day options Monday–Friday, with extended care available upon request
Cowabunga Surf and Sport states that it is a family enterprise that works as a team to bring families activities in the water sport realm. Key staff are lifeguard skilled, and all counselors are trained in CPR and first aid. The camp uses electronic check-in and check-out and notes a camper-to-counselor optimal ratio. An open-air pavilion and the “bunga-bus” are used during the camp day, and during dangerous storms campers are housed in the BungaBus until the threat has passed.
