Frontline for Kids is an intervention and prevention after school program established in 1999 by Mr. Jerome Zohndyuwayee Gayman. The program’s philosophy centers on Reality Therapy, which is described as a method of counseling that focuses on the present and the future, using the past as a guide, and it is a major component of the program and a guide in practical affairs. Frontline for Kids states a goal of offering a long-term commitment to participants until graduation from high school and/or through G.E.D. attainment in a structured environment using this Reality Therapy approach to teach appropriate behavior and coping skills.

Frontline for Kids delivers after school programs to kids in the St. Lucie and Indian River County School Systems and their families, and the program includes community service. The Board of Directors, Administration and Staff of Frontline for Kids, Inc. thank funders including Wynne Charitable Foundation, The Wynne Family, Children Services Council of St. Lucie County, United Way of St. Lucie County, Wells Fargo Bank, PNC Bank and the Food Bank for 19 years of capacity building and partnerships. The program identifies keys to success that include family, crime prevention and intervention, and home and school visits.

Frontline for Kids specializes in Reality Therapy and notes that its logo features four puzzle pieces that represent academics, recreation, Reality Therapy counseling, and nutrition. The program mascot is the Meercat, and Frontline Kids are described by the program as intelligent, creative, and working well as a team.
