The Florida Youth Orchestra offers classical music education for young talented musicians ages 6 to 19. Its primary offerings include Principal Orchestra, FYO Symphony, Repertory Strings, Chamber Strings, Silver Strings, Alpha Strings, and Flute Choir. Auditions are offered throughout the season for any available seats.

About the provider
Florida Youth Orchestra has been operating since 1988 and is in its 39th season. Music Director is Dr. Claudio Jaffe, and Artist-in-Residence is Nestor Torres. The mission is to provide the highest quality classical music education for young talented musicians ages 6 to 19 and to develop appreciative audiences for the future. The program is recognized as Florida's premier youth orchestra and has over 400 members. Rehearsals are held at the University School of Nova Southeastern University.
