About
Bolts & Bytes Maker Academy offers Spring Break Camp, STEM Summer Camps, after-school STEM classes, weekend classes, and day-time homeschool programs that include activities such as Battle Bots, STEM Lab, CreateHERS all-girls workshops, 3D Printing, Inventor's Workshop, Micro-Drone Racing Pilot School, Combat Robotics, and Challenge Robotics. The program combines maker technology such as 3D printing, coding, robotics, electronics, and drones with access to fabrication tools in a fully equipped educational makerspace. For Combat Robotics, the program provides all the hardware needed for students to build and battle combat robots in the Bolts & Bytes Battle Bot Arena, covering basic bot building, RC electronics, offensive weapon design, and defensive strategy.

Founder and President Reed Beaubouef grew up in the beaches area and graduated from Fletcher High School in 1992. Reed Beaubouef is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, a former Director of online advertising products at web.com, and has educational training at the University of North Florida (UNF).
