Dragonfly Field Labs offers Nature Club for youth ages 6-17 with hands-on nature learning, fire-lighting, plant and animal ID, foraging, hiking, and nature games. It also offers field trips with group lessons in science, ecology, survival skills, marine biology, geology, and more, either led by experienced teachers in the field or brought to the classroom. The program also lists birthday parties for kids aged 6+ years and Eco Summer Camps 2026.

Programs

  • Eco Summer Camps 2026 — Camp hours are 9:00 am - 2:00 pm · Our 5-star summer camps teach children real skills in an exciting outdoor setting. Small groups led by experienced outdoor guides. 100% outdoors, rain or shine.

About the provider

Dragonfly Field Labs was founded in 2020. Its mission is providing accessible science and nature education to the Greater Jacksonville Area. The leadership team includes Elizabeth (Lizzy) Serrano and Michelle Medina. The program lists small staff ratios of 1:8, a flexible student-led curriculum, qualified and trained educators, 5-star reviews, CPR/First Aid and background-checked staff, and all staff as Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certified.

Camp is 100% outdoors, rain or shine. Parents will be contacted if care is administered. Staff are not permitted to administer medication to program participants, except allergy medications if directed in writing by the parent/guardian. Parents/guardians must inform the organization in writing of special circumstances affecting participation. Sandals, flip-flops, rubber crocs-style shoes, and other open-toed shoes are not recommended for active recreation activities.
