Seaside Charter Schools offers Sea Turtle ELC and Pre-K through Grade 8, along with Kindergarten through Grade 8. Admission is by free public lottery, and K-8 enrollment is completely free.

About the provider

Seaside Charter Schools says it started in 2006. It is open to every Duval County family regardless of neighborhood, income, or academic history, and it serves Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, Mayport, Mandarin, Southside Jacksonville, the Old St. Augustine Road corridor, North Jacksonville, and the Broward Road corridor.

Tuition-free public charter school. K-8 enrollment is completely free. Application fee is free. No essays or academic records required at application stage. Separate application required for each campus of interest. Enrollment preferences include siblings, students in a Seaside VPK program, children of employees, children of active-duty military members, and children of governing board members subject to Florida statute. Seaside does not discriminate on the basis of disability, race, color, national origin, gender, age, disability, or marital status.
