Cowabunga Surf and Water Sports Camp

Cowabunga Surf and Water Sports Camp offers surfing, skim boarding, body boarding, and paddle boarding, along with instruction in water sports and water safety skills. Campers take part in weekly surf competitions, pizza parties, and lots of aquatic and beach games. The program also offers summer camps, lessons, birthday celebrations for children and adults, family and corporate retreat activities, seasonal student programs, and bachelor and bachelorette parties.

Key staff at Cowabunga Surf and Water Sports Camp are lifeguard skilled, and all counselors are trained in CPR and first aid. Small, supervised groups rotate throughout the day, and the program maintains an optimal camper-to-counselor ratio. The camp uses electronic check-in and check-out and has access to an open-air pavilion and the “bunga-bus,” which is used to house campers during dangerous storms until the threat has passed.
