About the provider

More than 40 years ago, long-time Juno Beach resident Eleanor Fletcher started what is now Loggerhead Marinelife Center. In 1983, the Children’s Museum of Juno Beach was incorporated, and the organization relocated in April 2007 and changed its name to Loggerhead Marinelife Center. The center’s mission is to promote conservation of ocean ecosystems with a special focus on threatened and endangered sea turtles. It is one of Florida’s most visited nonprofit scientific destinations and was named the No. 1 “Best Free Attraction” in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards Back-2-Back for 2024-25.
