City of Lakeland Summer Camps include on-site supervised recreation and in-town field trips such as skating, bowling, swimming, and going to the movies. Camp BLAST is a summer enrichment program for elementary school-aged children providing supervised recreation. T.A.S.C. is a summer enrichment program for 6th–8th graders with a focus on service and adventure, and there are also Esports and STEM day camps available in the summer of 2025.
• Ages: 6–14 years old
• Schedule: Camp BLAST and T.A.S.C. run June 8–July 24 in a 7-week session, Monday–Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with no camp on the city observed holidays for Juneteenth and Independence Day and no camp on Friday, June 19 and Friday, July 3
• Price: Camp BLAST costs $400.00 per camper, with $250.00 due at registration and three payments of $50.00 due April 6, April 20, and May 4; T.A.S.C. costs $700 per camper
Camp BLAST activities include on-site supervised recreation and in-town field trips such as skating, bowling, swimming, and the movies. T.A.S.C. requires a selection process that includes an application, references, interest forms, and an in-person interview, and all campers, including previous T.A.S.C. participants, must complete the full application and selection process for Summer 2026. Applications for T.A.S.C. are limited and are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Parents must verify the child’s age with a copy of the child’s most recent report card. Limited financial assistance is available through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for families who reside within city limits and meet income qualifications.
