City of Lakeland Summer Camps offers on-site supervised recreation along with in-town field trips. Activities include skating, bowling, swimming, movies, service, and adventure. NEW Esports and STEM Day Camps are available in Summer 2026.
• Ages: 6–14 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM, June 8–July 24 (7 weeks), with no camp on the city observed holidays for Juneteenth and Independence Day (no camp Friday, June 19 and Friday, July 3)
• Price: Camp BLAST cost: $400.00, with $250.00 due at registration and three payments of $50.00 due April 6, April 20, and May 4; T.A.S.C. cost: $700 per camper
Camp BLAST is described as a highly successful summer enrichment program for elementary school-aged children, and participants must have completed kindergarten and not yet entered 6th grade. Parents must verify the child’s age for Camp BLAST with a copy of the child’s most recent report card. T.A.S.C. (Teen Adventure Service Camp) is a summer enrichment program for teens in 6th–8th grade, with a focus on service and adventure, and participants must have completed 6th grade but not yet entered 9th grade. Those interested in T.A.S.C. must complete a selection process that includes an application, references, interest forms, and an in-person interview, and all campers, including previous T.A.S.C. participants, must complete the entire application and selection process for Summer 2026. There is currently a waiting list for T.A.S.C. applications.
