About
Campus KidCare offers activities such as arts & crafts, music & drama, discovery projects, special interest activities, table games, cup cooking experiences, environmental studies, educational movies, tutoring, and sports. The program also includes homework help, language skills practice, motor building activities, and social exercises. Campus KidCare provides a nutritious snack each afternoon, and each site has its own telephone, with enrollment open to a limited number of children.

• Schedule: KidCare operates during the school-year at participating sites as well as Summer Camp.
Campus KidCare is dedicated to providing a safe, accessible, affordable, developmentally sound child care program for elementary school children. SSYFS Campus KidCare is an enrichment program created by the Polk County School System and local child care providers. Staff, volunteers, and specialists work within a staff/child ratio of 1:17. Campus KidCare is designed to care for children safely and to give them educational, social, cultural, emotional, and academic support, and it offers developmentally appropriate activities including language skills practice, motor building activities, and social exercises.
