Camp Guaikinima is an adventure summer camp where campers take part in activities such as mountain bike, art, competitions, Slip ‘n’ slide, excursions, The Beam, Pamper Pole, Bridge, and Rappel. For the mountain bike activity, each camper is given a bicycle and helmet. Camp Guaikinima is a bilingual territory with activities, interactions, instructions, and songs in both English and Spanish.
• Ages: 5–16 years old
• Schedule: Day Camp runs in weekly blocks Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm; Sleepaway Camp offers 3-week and 2-week sessions within the summer dates provided.
Camp Guaikinima offers a Sleepaway Program with overnight stays for children between 6 and 16 years old and a Day Camp Program for children between 5 and 12 years old. The camp is operated by Site & Adventure LLC and offers Special Programs including a CIT Program, Family Weekend, GuaikiFiestas, Road Trips, and a Campfire Sleepover Program. Camp Guaikinima is described as the ideal camp for parents concerned about their children's Spanish language skills.
Camp Guaikinima uses a methodology validated for more than 30 years in hundreds of children and young people. Founder and General Director Raymond Cidad has dreamed, devised, designed, built, and directed summer camps for over 30 years. The leadership team includes Raymond Cidad (General Director, Founder/Director), Isabel Bello de Cidad (Co-Founder/Managing Director), Hecmary Calatayud (Administrative Manager), Mafe Teran (Day Camp Director), Orla Andueza (Sleepaway Camp Coordinator), Claudia Schlaya (Day Camp Director), Michelle Dernersissian (Day Camp Director), Gerly Cabrera (Day Camp Director), Monica Perrino (Day Camp Director), and Natalia Serur (Day Camp Director).
Rodrigo Cidad is certified as a Lifeguard by the American Red Cross, as a Level P3 Paragliding Pilot by the USHPA (US Hangliding and Paragliding Association), and in International Canyoning. Camp Guaikinima collects personal information to inform clients and prospects about promotions, discounts, and general content via email, SMS, and/or WhatsApp, does not share collected data with third parties, and has implemented security measures including secure and encrypted technologies (HTTPS) on web forms.
