Dancehouse Miami

Dancehouse Miami offers Small Fry for ages 3 to 5, ballet for ages 3+, jazz for ages 5+, contemporary for ages 5+, hip hop for ages 5+, acro by invitation only, and ballroom for ages 5+. The classes include ballet and creative dance, classical ballet training, jazz technique and performance flair, contemporary movement, urban styles and choreography, tumbling and acrobatic skills, and ballroom with classic styles and Latin rhythms.

Programs

• Small Fry — ages 3 to 5 · Introductory class for littlest dancers; builds coordination, rhythm, and a love for movement through playful, age-appropriate ballet and creative dance in a warm, encouraging setting.
• Ballet — ages 3+ · Classical ballet training that builds strength, alignment, grace, discipline, and a technical foundation.
• Jazz — ages 5+ · High-energy class mixing technique, flexibility, and performance flair.
• Contemporary — ages 5+ · Expressive class blending ballet and modern technique with fluid, grounded movement.
• Hip Hop — ages 5+ · High-energy class teaching urban styles, grooves, and choreography.
• Acro — By Invitation Only · Dance and athleticism class building strength, flexibility, balance, and control through tumbling and acrobatic skills.
• Ballroom — ages 5+ · Class introducing classic styles and Latin rhythms, building posture, musicality, lead-and-follow connection, and poise.

About the provider

Dancehouse Miami is led by Rochelle Fereira, Founder and Artistic Director; Owner / Director. The studio says that for years it has been a home where dancers of every age and level grow in confidence, technique, and a love for dance, and it describes itself as a premier dance conservatory with 100s competition awards and hundreds of competition trophies and championship titles.

Classes are grouped by age and ability. Beginners are welcome. Acro is offered by invitation only. Pointe work is introduced to advanced dancers once they have developed the necessary strength, technique, and readiness. For a trial class, hair in a bun and comfortable dancewear are recommended. Once enrolled, dancers order the studio uniform, which is required for class.
