The Lucy Project

The Lucy Project offers The Literacy Hub, Unlocking Literacy, Reading Roadmap, Literacy Ladder Kids, Literacy Ladder Pro, and R.O.A.R.S. After-school. Its program schedule says R.O.A.R.S. After-school meets daily, Monday through Friday, Literacy Ladder Kids meets 3+ times per week, and The Literacy Hub meets before, during, and after school.

About the provider

The Lucy Project says it has well over a decade of experience. It says it is creating a scalable, replicable model of support with science-backed methods that turn teachers into literacy experts and students into readers. It also says literacy is a right, not a privilege. The Lucy Project says it hosts literacy and education film screenings, intimate discussions, inclusive community gatherings, and an annual conference, and that it works with mission-driven partners and is supported by The Children’s Trust.

The Lucy Project says support is available to children and families in South Florida, and virtual learning may be available anywhere in the US if the child is a good fit. It says family annual income determines the cost per session in any program. Literacy Ladder Kids is taking a short pause and will return Spring 2027.
