Miami Country Day School Auxiliary Programs

Miami Country Day School Auxiliary Programs are part of an independent, coeducational, nonprofit learning community that includes approximately 1,380 students in Pre-Kindergarten 3 through Grade 12. The program includes more than 50 after-school clubs, 36 athletic teams, robust theater and arts programs, and extensive offerings of clubs and activities. Auxiliary Programs also include Spartans Around, an online program for students in Grades 6–12.

Miami Country Day School has grown over the past 86 years. The school’s leadership includes Mariandl Hufford, President and Head of School. The mission of Miami Country Day School is to empower every student, every day, everywhere to learn with vigor, explore with purpose, strive for excellence, and serve with honor, respect, and compassion as global citizens in a community where every student is known and included by engaging the whole child, in and out of the classroom, as they discover their full potential. The community includes representation from 37 countries on campus.

The Woodhouse Athletic Center grand opening is described as a significant milestone in the school’s commitment to excellence in athletics, wellness, and community engagement. The Abess Center for Environmental Studies is described as one-of-a-kind. Reported community involvement includes more than 21,000 hours of annual volunteer community service, more than 1.3 million contributors to community service, 84% one-on-one community service, and more than 52,000 hours of service in the last four years.
