About
Snapology STEAM Programs include hands-on activities such as Robotics Build, Star Wars Challenge, Engineering Challenge, Animation, Robot Challenge, and Amusement Park Adventures Engineering. The program uses LEGO bricks, K’Nex, and technology for these activities, and children explore robotics, coding, and design challenges through building projects.
• Ages: 4–14 years old
Snapology STEAM Programs are described as year-round STEAM learning programs that engage children from ages 4 to 14, with instructors using fun, hands-on activities to teach Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. A dedicated Snapologist teaches students as they work in pairs to promote team building. Programs are offered as after-school programs, summer camps, workshops, field trips, birthday parties, assemblies, and custom events, and are available across the globe.
Snapology’s scout programs are described as top-rated and help scouts work toward badges, pins, and awards, with Girl Scout STEM badge alignment for Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes. Snapology patches are available at an additional cost for scouts who complete programs, and the organization provides interactive STEM/STEAM learning for scouting groups, including Girl Scout and Scouts BSA program activities. Community-based local Snapology teams host classes at local facilities and special events for schools and groups, and programs are available in schools, community facilities, homes, and Discovery Centers.
The Discovery Center is described as an interactive play space filled with educational tools, while classrooms provide educational programs, camps, and parties, and community-based locations host classes at local facilities and special events for schools and groups. Snapology Camps are described as a fun and engaging way for kids to enjoy a summer or school-year break, and birthday parties combine traditional party elements with educational activities. Programs are described as being based on research that shows children’s best learning experiences come from actively designing, creating, interacting, and inventing.
Parents and leaders have shared feedback such as “Great Facility and programs for Kids.” from Harnam Verma, and “My daughter loves Snapology and is always excited go! Educational and fun” from Samantha Molto. Another testimonial from Norma Rodriguez notes that a Girl Scout troop participated in an architecture class that was enjoyed by the whole troop and described it as great for teamwork and learning, with interest in returning for another class.
