Children and Youth Ministries (Nursery/Preschool, Sunday School, AWANA, Vacation Bible School, Wednesday Night Youth Group) includes Nursery/Preschool care, Bible study in Sunday School for children and teens, and an AWANA Wednesday night program for kids during the school year that focuses on reading and studying the Bible. The program also offers Vacation Bible School in the summer with Bible lessons, crafts, games, and snacks, as well as a Wednesday Night Youth Group with praise and worship, a relevant message, and relationship-building. Youth Activities take place throughout the year, and Student Leadership provides service opportunities for students.

• Schedule: Sunday School for children meets on Sunday mornings; AWANA meets on Wednesday nights during the school year; Vacation Bible School runs on Wednesday nights during the summertime; Sunday School for students and leaders meets at 9:15 AM on Sunday mornings; Wednesday Night Youth Group meets on Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM
The Preschool Ministry is for children from birth up to pre-kindergarten, and care is provided during all regularly scheduled service times for Nursery/Preschool. Ministry and security of preschool children is described as of the highest priority, and all volunteers in the Nursery/Preschool ministry are screened, fingerprinted, and trained to care for the needs of preschoolers. Children in the 2- and 3-year-old department follow a scope and sequence of biblical preschool curriculum each week. AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and is taken from II Timothy 2:15. Vacation Bible School is for children in preschool through 5th grade and is based on a unique theme each year. Every teen is encouraged to complete devotions in their daily journals throughout their week and to come together on Sunday to discuss what they have studied. Student Leadership emphasizes service as a key part of the youth group, with service opportunities both inside and outside the church.
Dr. Marc Mortensen has served the ministry for the past 48 years. The leadership team includes Dr. Marc Mortensen, Senior Pastor; Javier Vargas, Spanish Pastor; Marcus Mortensen, Family Pastor; Sean Fullerton, Pastor of Student Ministries; Micah Mortensen, Youth Pastor; and Eric Tindle, Minister of Music.
