About
Handwriting Solutions offers individualized, one-on-one handwriting tutoring through a virtual one-on-one method. The program includes targeted handwriting assessment, handwriting tutoring sessions, reading tutoring, spelling tutoring, early learning tutoring sessions, handwriting and fine motor games, and handwriting practice tools.

Handwriting Solutions provides certified virtual tutors who are highly qualified and trained with backgrounds in occupational therapy and education. Founder Kelli Fetter is a Certified Handwriting Specialist and has practiced occupational therapy for over 10 years, with experience in pediatrics and specific training in learning disorders and curriculums such as Handwriting Without Tears, Size Matters Program, and Because Neatness Matters. The program uses individualized, one-on-one handwriting tutoring with proven strategies in a creative yet rigorous way, along with evidence and research-based remediation techniques and a strengths-based, holistic approach. Services are available for students from kindergarten to high school, including support for students with specific learning disorders such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, and autism, and tutors also act as educational consultants.
Handwriting Solutions offers thorough handwriting assessments with a written report and follow-up interview. These assessments are not for diagnostic purposes but are used for development of individualized treatment intervention to support literacy success, and reports can be provided to diagnosticians or pediatricians to aid in determination of a diagnosis. The program can refer students to occupational therapy services if more intensive, skilled services are needed.

Kelli Fetter is a board member of The Handwriting Collaborative, a nonprofit organization providing resources, connections, professional learning opportunities, and collaborations to amplify handwriting and literacy skills for educators, parents, and children. Handwriting Solutions is an approved provider with Neurodiversity Resource of the Panhandle, where Kelli Fetter also serves on the board, working with a group that supports families living with neurodiversity in the Emerald Coast area. Handwriting Solutions partners with DyslexiaRx to serve families with children with dyslexia and with Inclusiveology to serve schools in promoting inclusion practices in educational settings. The program offers free webinars with partners on handwriting, literacy, parent support, occupational therapy, and inclusion practices and has been featured on multiple podcasts and publications related to handwriting, dysgraphia, literacy, and occupational therapy. One parent testimonial notes that a child with autism showed improvement in handwriting after working with Kelli for a month and that the child reported the sessions were fun.
