Jonesville Preparatory Preschool

Jonesville Preparatory Preschool includes daily activities such as creating, moving, observing, discussing, singing, reading, pretend play, observing experiments, and dancing. The program uses play throughout the day both inside and outside, and getting messy, singing loud, dancing with joy, playing deeply in pretend play, and discussing many topics are all part of the day. Teachers build strong relationships with each child and create learning experiences through their observations.

• Schedule: Educational hours from 8:00am–11:30am, with early drop-off from 7:00–8:00am and Afternoon Enrichment pickup options at 3:00pm and 5:00pm

Jonesville Preparatory Preschool offers classes for children aged 2 through Pre-K. Children must have reached the age of 2 by September 1st of the year of enrollment, and applicants are considered based on their developmental level and the availability of space in the appropriate class. The program states that it celebrates the whole child in an environment that is described as relevant, meaningful, play-based, relationship-based, connected, and safe, and it supports learning in physical, social and emotional, cognitive, and language and literacy areas.

According to its mission statement, Jonesville Preparatory Preschool cares about children and their families and states that it has a responsibility to provide opportunities in which children can develop to their fullest potential. The mission also states that the goal is for each child to have a happy school experience, begin the total development of a well-rounded personality, and relate to others and their community.
