AR Workshop Youth Workshops and Summer Art Camps offers hands-on craft classes, DIY workshops, and group activities that include wood workshops, candle pouring workshops, chunky knit blanket workshops, canvas workshops, watercolor workshops, embroidery workshops, charcuterie workshops, hat burning workshops, jewelry workshops, cookie decorating workshops, handlettering workshops, and texture art workshops. Participants can make projects such as wood signs, trays, porch signs, seasonal projects, canvas pillows, wall hangings, tote bags, and youth aprons, and can mix scents to create their own candles and fragrances. The program also offers private parties and summer art camps in a boutique DIY studio setting with a curated retail selection of gifts, home decor, and DIY-to-Go kits, and tools and materials are ready for participants to use.

In 2016, Maureen Anders and Adria Ruff introduced AR Workshop as a boutique DIY studio that now has more than 125 franchises across the country and serves as a destination for all things DIY with a wide variety of personalized projects and designs. The leadership team includes Maureen Anders (Co-Founder / Chief Executive Officer), Adria Ruff (Co-Founder / Creative Director), Ryann Fairweather (VP of Operations), Libby Martel (VP of Strategy and Brand Development), Emily Ostrowski (Director of National Marketing & Brand Partnerships), Joanna Rapuzzi (Director of Franchise Development), Kellie Smith (Operations and IT Manager), Melissa Bowen (Brand Manager), Jillian Russell (Franchise General Counsel), Calhoun Grabowski (Graphic Designer & Project Manager), and Jen Carver (Content Contributor). The program states that it walks participants through its DIY process step by step, that there is something for everyone to create and celebrate at AR Workshop, that participants can leave the mess behind, and that it is fun for all ages.
