About
Aquatics Camp offers a mix of activities that include a 50' climbing and repelling wall, a BB range, an archery range, a Fun Ecology Area, and sports activities. The camp is not just a water camp and highlights the water as one of its local features during the summer. The program also pulls resources from the Boy Scouts of America’s merit badge program in many of its program areas, giving registered Scouts chances to earn merit badges or accomplishments toward rank advancement.
• Ages: 6–14 years old
• Schedule: Day camp for 5 weeks of summer; current office hours are Monday–Friday, 4pm–6pm
• Price: Register camper with a $60 deposit (plus any class fees)
Aquatics Camp is a camp for boys and girls and is owned and operated by the North Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America. Registered Scouts in a pack, troop, crew, or ship can use council properties throughout the year as part of a year-round camping program. The camp offers buses from Beach Blvd/I-295 and Mandarin, and a sibling discount is listed at the end of the class selection, past the bus and extended day registration.
The program is managed by trained, certified staffers who care about the campers and the program, and who are prepared for unlikely emergencies and able to attend to minor medical issues of campers in their care. Aquatics Camp is accredited each summer by the National Camp Accreditation Program and is fully accredited by the National Camping School. The mission of Aquatics Camp states that its vision is to provide an unparalleled experience for youth at a day camp, offering kids fun and adventure in the outdoors and experiences that will help campers develop leadership skills and values for a happy, healthy, and safe summer.
