Champions states that it has a solution for busy working families by offering activities that combine fun and learning in a program located inside the school. The program notes that financial assistance or tuition discounts may be available, including employer, sibling, military, and public programs. Teachers and staff complete extensive training on health and safety practices, including pandemic-response protocols, and are trained in first aid and CPR. Staff members are described as dedicated and friendly, and they are trained in child development, early childhood education, or a related field.

Only authorized staff and families may enter the site, and all children must be signed in and out on a paper-based roster and/or computer system. Only pre-approved people with photo identification may pick up a child, and written authorization must be on file before a child is released to anyone. Families are asked to have ID readily available at pick up and drop off. The program uses smoke detectors and fire extinguishers at all sites, has an emergency evacuation plan at each site that is tested frequently, and is supported by a National Support Center crisis team during and after emergencies. The program reports that it uses safe, non-toxic cleaning products and sanitizes high-touch items and surfaces throughout the day, and it has strict policies for administering medication. A wellness screening is located near the Family Communication Area. Most sites offer breakfast, lunch, and snacks, though meal service may vary by site, and all outdoor play is supervised and held only in outdoor play spaces that are described as safe and secure at the school or program location.
