CMT Workshop, Inc offers theatre and dance programs that include acting, singing, dancing, voice, and related theatre arts. The program features theatre classes, dance classes, fully-staged musical productions, a multi-week Musical Theatre Summer Camp with a performance, and non-performance single-week themed summer camp sessions.

Starting out in July 1981 as Children’s Musical Theatre Starshine Kids, CMT Workshop’s performance-based programs have served students in Volusia and Flagler Counties for over 44 years. In 1990, CMT Workshop, Inc was officially formed as a Florida Non-Profit Organization. The program currently serves over 200 students annually and offers a season of fully-staged musical productions featuring young performers. CMT Workshop is an approved Home Education Instructional Program provider through Step Up for Students scholarships, and need-based partial and full scholarships are available for theatre and dance. Registration for theatre, dance, and summer camps is handled through an online registration portal. The mission of CMT Workshop, Inc states that it provides performing arts education to students of all ages and skill levels, with experienced faculty and staff committed to helping each student achieve their full potential and reach their goals.
