Odyssey Adventure Club

Odyssey Adventure Club offers summer adventure camps that include activities such as surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, mountain biking, hiking, camping, skateboarding, and rock climbing. The program also provides kayak rentals, paddleboard rentals, and guided wildlife tours, including a guided wildlife tour that gives participants a glimpse of dolphins and manatees. As a mobile outdoor experience provider, Odyssey Adventure Club supplies transportation, gear, and guides for its tours.

• Price: Rental options for kayaks and paddleboards starting as low as $25 per vessel

The leadership team includes Director Steve Waterman; Lead Counselors Scott Crooke and Jan Michael-Scott (Coach Scott); Counselor Rich Colville; and Junior Counselors Luke, Sarah, Luca, and Hannah. Steve Waterman has years of teaching and parenthood experience, and Jan Michael-Scott is a school PE teacher. Scott has been part of the Odyssey Adventure Club family for over 10 years, and some former campers have returned as Junior Counselors. The program’s stated mission is that it is important now more than ever to spread the joys and adventures of the outdoors to the next generation. Odyssey Adventure Club also participates in community events, inviting families to check its schedule for local events with vendors, paddling, and a day out in the sun, and it can be part of fundraisers.
