Tanglewood Academy is an early learning center that offers an indoor and outdoor physical environment which is safe and invites exploration and discovery through a variety of quality materials. The center includes spacious playgrounds and hosts specialized programs to ensure that kids are growing, learning, and having fun. The program features an applicable curriculum focusing on relevancy and expansion rather than general memorization and maintains one of the region’s best student-to-teacher ratios, including a low student-to-teacher ratio and a host of specialized programs.

Tanglewood Academy in Pembroke Pines has been providing toddlers and young children with a safe and exciting learning environment for more than 30 years, and the early learning center was established in 1985. For over three decades, it has been providing educational programs and engaging activities for kids across South Florida and is described as a leader in early childhood education, with more than 30 years of building character, teaching the new generation, helping kids achieve new heights, and providing an exciting atmosphere for learning. The program includes after school pickup and drop-off, a food program, and a spacious playground, along with strong communication with all parents and opportunities for them to get involved in their children’s learning experiences, supported by an open door policy for parents.
The stated goal at Tanglewood Academy is to make learning an adventure for each child by providing opportunities for the child to become actively involved in the learning process by discovering his world through a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and materials. The program also aims to involve parents in the Tanglewood Academy program through active participation and observation and to establish open communication between staff and parents concerning the child’s individual needs at home and at Tanglewood Academy. It commits to providing a staff which is experienced, well-trained and knowledgeable concerning the development and needs of young children, and to maintaining an indoor and outdoor physical environment which is safe and invites exploration and discovery through a variety of quality materials which stimulate the child’s physical, emotional and intellectual growth.
Tanglewood Academy provides early childhood education for children of Pembroke Pines and educational programs and engaging activities for kids across South Florida. In addition to becoming A.P.P.L.E. accredited, Tanglewood Academy has also earned the state of Florida’s Gold Seal of Excellence.
