Tanglewood Academy offers early childhood education programs that include after school pickup and drop-off. The program takes place at Tanglewood Academy early learning center, which has indoor and outdoor areas with quality materials that invite exploration and discovery.

Tanglewood Academy early learning center was established in 1985 and has been providing toddlers and young children with an exciting learning environment for more than 30 years. Over three decades, it has offered educational programs and engaging activities for kids across South Florida and has focused on building character and student growth.
The program’s stated goal is to make learning an adventure through engaging programs and activities that support age-appropriate discoveries. Its mission includes involving parents through active participation and observation, maintaining open communication between staff and parents about each child’s needs at home and at Tanglewood Academy, and maintaining an indoor and outdoor environment that is safe and encourages exploration with a variety of quality materials.
The staff is described as experienced, well-trained, and knowledgeable about the development and needs of young children. Tanglewood Academy notes that it maintains one of the region’s best student-to-teacher ratios, offers a low student-to-teacher ratio, and has an open door policy for parents while maintaining strong communication with families.
The early learning center is A.P.P.L.E. accredited, has earned the state of Florida’s Gold Seal of Excellence, and is described as a Florida Institution of Excellence and a leader in early childhood education. The program also participates in Step Up for Students Family Day as part of its community involvement.
