Sports Center Day Camp offers a summer of non-stop activity that includes swimming, waterslides, and ice skating. The program includes an entertaining summer experience filled with these activities and more, with leaders supervising campers at every activity and challenging them with academic games and activities throughout the day. Extended care is offered until 5:30 p.m., and for camper security, anyone picking up a camper must present a photo ID.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Weekly sessions June 1–August 14, with options to enroll for a week, a month, or the entire summer; the week of July 4 meets Monday–Thursday, June 29–July 2
Camp directors, the camp nurse, chapel speakers, and leaders are students and staff from Pensacola Christian College and staff from Pensacola Christian Academy, and each staff member goes through training before camp begins. Bible truths are taught to lead youth to a knowledge of Christ, based on the belief that the Bible gives the best light for this life and the only hope for the life to come, and that no other book can enrich the minds and hearts of young people like the Bible.
Parents have shared that their children “adored” their week at day camp, “very much enjoyed camp this summer,” and “loved Sports Center Day Camp.” Other parents report that their children “loved it,” “had such a great time this summer,” and that “this has been one of the best camps we have attended.”
