Sunshine Child Programs offers After School Care, No School Day Camp, Winter Camp, Spring Camp, and Summer Camp. Recreational camp programs are offered on all Teacher Planning Days, select holidays, Winter Break, Spring Break, and all summer long.

About the provider

Sunshine has provided school-age child care programs in Broward County since 1992. It is a family operated not-for-profit child care provider that is licensed and insured, operates under the policies and directives of the Division of Children & Family Services and the Broward County School Board, and has been recognized for meeting and/or exceeding quality standards. The organization was also named a 2026 Winner for Best Daycare, Best Summer Camp, Favorite Customer Service, and Favorite Nonprofit Organization, and a Winner of the 2026 South Florida Favorites for Best Summer Camp and Best Daycare.

All programs are licensed and insured. Staff undergo Level 2 FBI background checks and are trained in CPR/First Aid, Child Abuse prevention, and Water Safety. Sunshine uses official Broward School buses for field trips. The program provides a 1:20 ratio. Recreational camps accept K-7th grade; CSC camps accept K-5th grade. There are no refunds or credits unless a doctor’s note for illness is provided, or a payment is moved to another week prior to the start of the paid week.
