Elite Fine Arts Academy offers ballet, acrobatics, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, Latin jazz, musical theater, tap, voice, circus, and combination classes. The combination classes are for ages 2-6 and include ballet, tap, jazz, acro, and drama exercises in one hour. The program also offers the Prestige Competition Team for ages 5-18.
Programs
- Acrobatics — Basic floor tricks incorporated into dance; strength and flexibility are concentrated on.
- Ballet — Classical ballet training; all levels build technique, turn out, line, carriage, strength, flexibility, artistry, and vocabulary.
- Combination Classes — 2-6, fully potty trained · Littlest stars get ballet, tap, jazz, acro, and drama exercises in one hour.
- Contemporary — Modern-based expressive class using a wide range of music; develops strength, artistry, flexibility, musicality, and improv techniques.
- Hip Hop — Urban-flavored music and choreography with warmups for strength conditioning, flexibility, balance, and endurance.
- Jazz — Upbeat music with center warmup, diagonal linking steps, across-the-floor techniques, and stylized combinations.
- Latin Jazz — Latin flavor and music infused into jazz technique.
- Musical Theater — Incorporates drama/acting exercises, theater games, singing, and dancing; Broadway-type music is used and prepared for performances.
- Tap — Focuses on rhythm, basics, combination steps, advanced rhythms, and turns.
- Voice — Vocal instruction covering posture, breath support, placement, intonation, and presentation; offers performance opportunities in Holiday and Year End Showcase recitals.
- Circus — Circus arts combines aerial training and floor skills with dance using apparatuses like Aerial Silks, Lyra and Spanish Web.
- Prestige Competition Team — 5-18 · Award-winning competition team for beginner to advanced dancers; trains in a wide range of styles and participates in multiple competitions throughout the season.

About the provider
The academy says it has been in operation for over 17 years and also states that Elite is in its 15th year. The founder is Trudy Weaver, and her teaching experience is listed as 40+ years. The Prestige competition team is described as award-winning, and students regularly appear in performances with Charlotte Players and Venice Little Theater. Dancers have also appeared at Disney, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and The Orange Bowl Half time Show.
Book a Discovery Call and Book a Trial Class are offered. For Combination Classes, ages 2-6 are accepted as long as they are fully potty trained. Ballet must be maintained to participate in any upper-level Jazz and/or Contemporary class.
