Skill Samurai offers a free trial class that includes a skill assessment and consultation, with small group sessions of up to 8 kids for trial classes. Weekly classes are project-based and self-paced, with personalized learning paths and personal curriculum plans, and the program offers easy makeup class options, no contracts, and flexible month-to-month memberships. Holiday camps are available in half, full, and multi-day options, with fresh content every session and sibling, group, and multi-day discounts.
Classes are led by trained adult educators (not teenagers), and the program uses a safe check-in process and a collaborative class culture. The integrated MathCode™ Method combines maths and coding, and students can take part in Olympiad-style competitions in Coding, AI, Maths, and Video Production.
Since 2015, Skill Samurai's curriculum has helped kids, and for 10 years the company has been delivering creative camps worldwide. Since 2017, Skill Samurai has been working to empower students' lives through education. The mission of Skill Samurai is to teach future-ready skills that prepare kids not just for school but for life. Richard is the franchise owner for Ashmore.
Skill Samurai has sponsored international projects including teaching sewing and business skills to women in Bangladesh, orphanage construction in India, and educating children in Nairobi, and it partners with local schools to deliver classes during the day and after school.
One parent, Mitchell M, shared that Skill Samurai has been a whole new adventure for their ASD son and described Richard as patient, kind, and encouraging. Another parent, Deborah E, said their son attended the Pokémon school holiday class, loved it, and was proud to show off his work at home. A third parent, Nicole M, said they would give more stars if they could and that their son attended 2 days of holiday programs and had a fantastic time.
