Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center After School Care and Summer Camp

Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center After School Care and Summer Camp offers after school care and summer camp for children in kindergarten through 8th grade. The program takes place at the Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center and includes early childhood enrichment through education services for K–8, as well as one-on-one family support assistance connected to the program’s services.

• Schedule: Hours of operation Monday–Wednesday 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m., Thursday 8:30 a.m.–6 p.m., and Friday 8:30 a.m.–Noon

For more than 25 years, the Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center has served families in north Pinellas County. The Center’s mission is to nurture and strengthen children, youth, adults, families and communities through education, support services and collaborative partnerships to improve people’s lives and help them achieve self-sufficiency. The program operates within a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is governed by a volunteer board of directors and led by an executive director with a staff of 20, complemented by more than 40 regular volunteers. The Center is an equal opportunity provider and receives financial support from the Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas County and the Florida cities of Safety Harbor, Clearwater, and Oldsmar, along with grants, private donations, gifts, and sponsorships for special programs and events. The Center provides support services for families and children living in Safety Harbor, Oldsmar, and eastern Clearwater, including zip codes 34695, 34677, 33759, and 33761, and connects those who reside outside this area to other local resources.
