Highlands County YMCA Youth Programs

Highlands County YMCA Youth Programs offers Youth Soccer for ages 3-14 and Itty Bitty Soccer for ages 2-3. Youth Soccer introduces children and adolescents to the fundamentals of soccer and teaches rules of the game, fair play, sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, cooperation, and goal setting. Private Swim Lessons are one-on-one swimming lessons for beginners with a private instructor’s undivided attention.

Programs

• Youth Soccer — 3-14 · Fall and spring seasons; winter season runs November-January; spring season runs March-May; fall season runs August-October · Introduces children and adolescents to the fundamentals of soccer; teaches rules of the game, fair play, sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, cooperation, and goal setting.
• Itty Bitty Soccer — 2-3 · Season occurs at the same time as the big league · Tailored for 2-3 year olds to learn the fundamentals of soccer.

• Group Exercise Schedule — Exercise classes and their schedules.

KidZone is available for children 6 months - 12 years old; parent must remain in facility; only available with Family Membership. Private Swim Lessons: cancellations must be made 24 hours ahead; must complete private swim lessons within 3 months of purchase; digital form can be emailed to [email protected] or printed and turned into the front desk.
