Camp Gan Israel - The Premier Jewish Camp in the St. Petersburg Region offers a four-week session that includes sports, games, crafts, dramatics, trips, and other camp activities. Campers take part in specific activities such as fitness, tennis, swimming, carnivals, creative crafts, yoga, dress-up days, color war, bunk competition, Challah baking, Clay Creations, dance, woodwork, Mad Science, Lego robotics, and chess. Daily field trips are included and feature swimming, tennis, drama, and excursions to various local attractions.

Gan Israel is part of the largest and fastest growing network of Jewish day camps in the world and has a stated reputation as a trendsetter with innovative ideas, creative programs, and new activities. The camp is organized into three age divisions: Explorers for grades K–1, Trailblazers for grades 2–4, and Pioneers for grades 5–7. The program states that campers are imbued with a deep sense of pride in their Jewish heritage and a love for the land of Israel, and that campers make Challah weekly. The mission statement describes Gan Israel as more than a break from school, calling it a comprehensive program designed to strengthen the whole child and provide a summer of fun, excitement, friendship, and meaningful educational experiences.
