Camp Gan Israel includes a full program of sports, games, crafts, dramatics, trips and other camp activities. Campers take part in activities such as fitness, tennis, swimming, carnivals, creative crafts, yoga, dress-up days, color war, bunk competition, Challah baking, Clay Creations, dance, woodwork, Mad Science, Lego robotics, chess, drama, and additional games and crafts.

Gan Israel is described as a comprehensive program with fun, excitement, friendship, and meaningful educational experiences. The camp has three age divisions: Explorers for grades K–1, Trailblazers for grades 2–4, and Pioneers for grades 5–7. Gan Israel is part of the largest and fastest growing network of Jewish day camps in the world and is noted as a trendsetter with innovative ideas, creative programs, and new activities. Campers participate in daily field trips that are free and include swimming, tennis, drama, and excursions to many local attractions, and they make Challah weekly. Gan Israel campers are described as being imbued with a deep sense of pride in their Jewish heritage and a love for the land of Israel.
The camp’s experienced staffers work to develop skills, confidence, and a sense of fair play within each child, and the counselors are described as being known for their personal warmth and ability to care for each child as an individual. The leadership team includes Rabbi Mendel and Mushkie Lebovics as Camp Directors, and Rabbi Alter Korf and Mrs. Chaya Korf as Directors.
