About
Therapeutic Recreation (TR) Programs include physical fitness, arts and dance classes, social events, community trips, and life skill programs. The program offers chances to explore and discover new hobbies with friends through these activities. Programs, activities, and events are created by Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) staff with the assistance of TR staff at Azalea Recreation Center.
• TR Membership is for anyone interested in participating in TR activities
• TR Division offers a quarterly brochure featuring upcoming programs, events, and more
• TR Calendar lists upcoming TR programs and events happening each month
The TR Division aims to provide inclusive, intergenerational recreation, leisure and play opportunities for individuals in the community with physical, intellectual and developmental disabilities. The TR Division is supervised by a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS).
