About
Therapeutic Recreation Division Programs offers activities that include physical fitness, arts and dance classes, social events, community trips, and life skill programs. TR Membership is for anyone interested in taking part in these Therapeutic Recreation (TR) activities. Programs are created by Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) staff with the assistance of TR staff.
The TR Division’s stated mission is to provide inclusive, intergenerational recreation, leisure and play opportunities for individuals in the community with physical, intellectual and developmental disabilities. The TR Division is supervised by a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS). TR Membership includes completing a membership form, having a meeting to set goals and select activities, and then participating in programs with other TR members and staff.
