Creative Clay is an arts program that focuses on expressive, educational, and vocational experiences in the arts for people with disabilities. The program operates as part of Creative Clay, which has existed since 1995 and identifies “Equality through art since 1995” as a core feature. Creative Clay is a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
• Schedule: Open to the public Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm, with ArtWalk hours on 2nd Saturdays from 5–9pm
Creative Clay’s mission is to help people with disabilities achieve full and inclusive lives by providing expressive, educational and vocational experiences in the arts. The organization states that it does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status in any of its activities or operations, and it is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for staff, volunteers, and clients. Creative Clay has a Code of Civility and Conduct that applies to its community. If visitors need accommodations such as an interpreter, Creative Clay asks that they call ahead at least two weeks before their visit.
