Treasure Coast Junior Lifeguards offers Junior Lifeguard Summer Camps that include surf lifesaving camps, surfing, prone paddling, rescue board skills, and ocean swimming. Participants take part in challenging beach games and competition, along with board surfing, body surfing, paddling rescue boards, and paddle boarding. The program also includes learning lifeguard and first-aid skills, a daily educational progression on how waves are created and how they cause breaking waves and rip currents, and instruction on how to read waves and the surf line up, plus a “FUN DAY” Friday with activities such as getting “TUBED” behind a Wave Runner, chilling with “BOB,” and getting launched.

Treasure Coast Junior Lifeguards is hosted by Marine First Responders, which is staffed by highly trained marine safety professionals. Marine First Responders is a licensed training provider for the American Red Cross and follows the ocean surf lifesaving guidelines of the United States Lifesaving Association and the American Red Cross. The program combines comprehensive water safety education with fun, physical, and confidence-building activities, and includes a focus on ocean situational awareness, rip current knowledge, personal water safety, and respect for the marine environment. Participants learn to act as a first responder when someone is in danger, with training that prepares them to respond effectively in emergencies until advanced care arrives, using instruction grounded in nationally recognized standards and best practices. The mission of Marine First Responders includes minimizing risk and maximizing safety and fun in the water through comprehensive water safety education, including Treasure Coast Junior Lifeguard Summer Camps and competition events. Their sports recreation and educational camps serve families throughout the Treasure Coast, including communities such as Jensen Beach, Stuart, Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, Vero Beach, Hobe Sound, Tequesta, Jupiter, Juno Beach, North Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, and Palm Beach Gardens.
