CAMP IDS is open to campers entering PreK3–8th grade from all over the Tampa Bay area, and in 2025 more than 1,300 students attended six weeks of camps. Recreational camps are offered for all ages, along with arts camps, STEAM and academic camps, and sports camps that welcome both experienced athletes and campers trying something new. Musical theatre options include Shrek Jr. and The Little Mermaid Jr. for grades 3–8, Raise Your Voice for grades 3–8, and 101 Dalmatians KIDS and Seussical KIDS for grades 1–5, along with additional musical theatre opportunities such as Bat Boy and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee for high school students.

Campers can bring lunch from home or purchase pre-ordered lunches from Warriors' Oasis Cafe when they are in camps that stay on campus, and they may bring cash to buy snacks or drinks daily. Students in full-day camps that travel offsite need to bring lunch from home. Every child receives one complimentary CAMP IDS T-shirt for the summer, with additional shirts available for purchase, and campers are encouraged to wear their camp shirts on Fridays for Spirit Day. Campers are asked to wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes such as sneakers, while flip flops and sandals are suggested to be saved for the weekend.

CAMP IDS is part of Corbett Preparatory School of IDS, a private, independent elementary and middle school for PreK3–8th grade that offers the International Baccalaureate Programme and states that it does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, religion, sex, age, gender, or national origin and is an equal opportunity employer. CAMP IDS has offered summer camp activities to students in the Tampa Bay area for more than 20 years, and Corbett Prep reports offering the International Baccalaureate Programme for 18 years and serving students from all over Tampa Bay for more than half a century. The school’s mission states that students deserve more than just knowledge and need confidence and resilience to embrace new challenges, and that they should be known and valued, supported and stretched in equal measure as building blocks of personal growth and academic achievement.

Veteran teacher and educational leader Jennifer Jagdmann became Corbett Prep's Head of School in July 2025, following previous Head of School Nick Rodriguez, who is now Head of School at Seabury Hall in Hawaii, and the Board President is Jeff Shannon. Testimonials from alumni, staff, and parents describe long-term connections to Corbett Prep and CAMP IDS, including a camp counselor and alumna who returns each summer, an alumnus who went on to Harvard and Duke, a director of philanthropy who is also an alumna, and a parent of two Corbett Prep graduates.
