Venice Art Center Youth & Children’s Art Classes

Venice Art Center Youth & Children’s Art Classes offers drawing, painting, jewelry making, pottery, and sculpture. The program takes place at the Venice Art Center, which also features an on-site cafe, an art library, and a one-of-a-kind artisan gift shop. The center also hosts special events and concerts, and it has a new location at Solea Wellen Park.

• Schedule: General hours of operation run Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM

For over 65 years, the Venice Art Center has been an active advocate in the promotion of the arts in the community. Its mission is to provide cultural enrichment opportunities that inspire and engage the community to see, experience, and create art. The center supports local artists by offering ways to express their creativity, sell their work, and teach others, and it organizes citywide public arts projects, outreach, and collaborations with other organizations. Each year, the Venice Art Center offers over 500 adult and children’s classes, presents 12 unique visual art exhibitions that are free and open to the public, runs a Summer Student Online Art Show with cash prizes, and hosts “Your Favorite Wine and Paint Party in Venice.”
