Venice Art Center Youth & Children’s Art Classes offers drawing, painting, jewelry making, pottery, and sculpture activities for young people. The program includes these hands-on art forms as part of its regular class offerings throughout the year.

• Schedule: Class options available Monday–Friday during daytime hours and Saturday mornings between September 2, 2025 and August 21, 2026
The Venice Art Center offers over 500 adult and children’s classes each year and presents 12 unique visual art exhibitions that are free and open to the public. Its mission is to provide cultural enrichment opportunities that inspire and engage the community to see, experience, and create art. For over 65 years, it has been an active advocate in promoting the arts in the community.
The organization supports local artists by giving them opportunities to express their creativity, sell their work, and teach others, and it has focused on events and projects that enhance the community, support other nonprofits, and make Venice a cultural destination. Additional features include an on-site café, an art library, a one-of-a-kind artisan gift shop, and a venue for special events and concerts. The Venice Art Center offers classes at its main facility and at a new location at Solea Wellen Park, and it also hosts events such as the 2026 Fine Arts Show & Sale, the 2026 Art Auction, the ARTINI event, the Baila Miller Lecture Series Winter/Spring 2026, and the 2025–2026 Concert Series.
