Indian River County Aquatic Programs

Indian River County Aquatic Programs includes the 100 Mile Swim Club, a year-long challenge in which participants swim at least 100 miles over the course of the year. It also offers the American Red Cross Babysitter Training Course, American Red Cross Junior Lifeguard Program, swim lessons, and Water Safety Instructor and Basic Safety Instructor certification courses.

Programs

• 100 Mile Swim Club — Year-long challenge for swimmers of all levels. Participants swim at least 100 miles over the course of the year.
• American Red Cross Babysitter Training Course — 11 and older · Monday–Tuesday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM · $60 per class · Provides childcare, first aid, CPR, CPR and First Aid certification.
• American Red Cross Junior Lifeguard Program — 12–14 · $150 per class · Two-week introduction to lifeguarding skills. Camp begins in June. Space is limited to 10 participants per session.
• Swim Lessons — Summer months for group swim lessons; year-round for private swim lessons · $45–$80 per session · Learn to Swim program follows the Red Cross curriculum. Private lessons are $80.00 for four half-hour lessons; group lessons are $45.00 per session.
• Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification course — 16 and older · $325 per class · Certification course to teach American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim programs.
• Basic Safety Instructor (BSI) certification course — 16 and older · $300 per class · Certification course to teach American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim programs.
