About
Little Medical School of the Treasure Coast offers hands-on activities where kids dress up like doctors, veterinarians, pharmacists, dentists, nurses, and other healthcare roles. The program includes after-school activities and programming, summer camps, preschool sessions and classes, birthday parties, badge classes, holiday and seasonal break camps, evening and weekend classes, in-school field trips, clubs and competition groups, scout activities, corporate events, STEM Nights, and homeschool programs. Kids use real medical instruments and take part in activities such as suturing, applying first aid, and reading X-rays, and the organization travels with all supplies needed for each class.

The curriculum is written by board certified physicians and educators and is STEM.org accredited. Enrichment programs align with STEM.org accredited Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math education objectives and cover topics such as veterinary medicine, forensic science, little doctor school, and marine biology, with over 400 hours of content available. The program celebrates students’ participation with a graduation and diploma ceremony. Each community-focused location is independently owned and offers customizable programs to suit various needs and budgets. A portion of retail sales helps to fund scholarships through Dr. Genie’s Kids. The stated mission is to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals through its STEM.org accredited programs in medicine.
