About
Realife Summer Camp is a private Christian summer camp and retreat that operates as a non-profit ministry with a spiritual focus to see lives eternally changed for the glory of God. The camp has full-time staff that reside at the camp on the Suwannee River in northwest Florida. Its summer camp facilities are open year round for retreats, rentals, conferences, and music events.
• Ages: 8–18 years old
• Schedule: Operates on weekdays from the beginning of June through the beginning of August
Realife Summer Camp is part of a Christian retreat and summer camp organization that operates in four locations in the state of Florida. The capacity of one of the camps has been upgraded with 26 new log cabins with private restrooms, bringing the total bed space at that site to about 400. Additional amenities at this camp include a 2,500 square foot resort-style pool, a floating dock, residences for the camp pastor and director, a filtered water system, and newly paved roads. These summer camp and retreat facilities are available for retreats, rentals, conferences, and music events for the balance of the year, including weekends.
Realife is led by President William Bloodworth and Financial Director Cindy Bloodworth. Recently, Realife received the “Champions of Hope” award from the Florida Governor. The organization also asks the community to support child welfare kids who come to Realife by purchasing an “In God We Trust” license plate.
Campers and former campers have shared written testimonials describing their personal spiritual experiences at Realife Summer Camp, including statements about feeling loved, learning about God, choosing to follow God, and decisions related to being saved and baptized. These testimonials mention specific individuals at camp, such as Pastor Kevin, a counselor named Jamie, and Mr. Bloodworth, and describe the impact campers say the camp and its people had on their faith and outlook.
